Macs and Windows PCs. It follows your system's light or dark theme.
Do I need to install anything else?
No. Everything Video Catch needs is already inside the app.
Is it safe?
Everything happens on your own computer, and the built-in ad blocker keeps pop-ups and shady redirects out of the way. Your logins and downloads stay with you.
Will it work on every website?
On most of them. Some sites lock their videos with copy protection, and those can't be saved.
What if opening the app shows “Video Catch” Not Opened?
The app isn't signed with an Apple developer certificate yet, so macOS blocks the first launch. Open System Settings, go to Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway. You only need to do this once.
Is it okay to download any video?
Only save videos you made, own, or have permission to keep. Respect the rules of the sites you visit and the laws where you live.
